Helena Hense is an interdisciplinary artist who works between film and photography.
She has worked as director, dop, photographer, editor and set designer for music videos and fashion campaigns. She has also produced video art installations for the gallery space.
Helena uses analogue and digital, shooting in 16mm and 120mm most of her work.
She is interested in building constructed dreamlike imaginary while studying the relationship between the fiction and the real, the conscious and the unconscious, the distance and the intimacy through interpreting the complex range of human emotions and mundane scenes.
